Read for the Record: The Little Engine That Could!
On August 24 Santa Barbara Public Library System celebrates Read For The Record, a national campaign to engage adults and children in setting the world record for the largest shared reading experience ever. There will be readings and train-themed story hours at the Central Library and branches, at the South Coast Railroad Museum in Goleta, and at the Santa Barbara Amtrak station.
